Inability to conceive; Unable to get pregnant

Infertility is the inability to conceive after 12 months of adequate, unprotected intercourse.Investigation and treatment is generally offered only after 12 month period. 

 

  • Ovulatory dysfunction

  • Tubal

  • Advanced age

  • Luteal phase defects

  • Uterine & cervical factors

  • Fibroids

 

Causes of infertility in women

  • A decrease in sperm count

  • Sperm being blocked from being released

 

Causes of infertility in men

Treatment depends upon cause of infertility, it may involve :

  • Induction of Ovulation

  • Folecular Monitoring

  • Planned Relation / IUI
